Rubber ducks made from PVCi vinyl are waterproofi, colourfast and durable – the duck lasts for years. Cleaning by hand with lukewarm water (up to 30°C) and mild soap, no machine washing. Important for bathing use: after each bath turn the bellows opening downwards and let the water drain, otherwise moisture can gradually collect inside.

Yes, the standard personalisation is a logo print on the chest or belly of the duck. On the classic yellow standard duck the entire yellow surface is available; on profession ducks (fire service, nurse, plumber) the free area is reduced by the outfit and we agree the specific position with you in advance. The standard process is 1- to 2-colour pad printing from approx. 100 pieces per run. For small runs from 25 pieces we offer digital printing with multi-colour motifs; for very large runs from 500 pieces upwards, a complete custom colour production in your brand colour is also possible — the duck itself then carries your brand without a logo print.
The standard format for squeaky ducks is 80 mm (around 4 cm high, 8 cm long) – the classic give-away size that fits into any trade fair bag and any clinic welcome pouch. For special applications we also carry baby formats with special approval (e.g. MBW131138 baby duck in pastel colours) and giant formats (MBW131051 giant duck) for trade stand decor, shop windows or as collector's items. For duck races as a fundraising event, we also have the racing duck with an inserted metal plate (MBW31176), which stays stable even in flowing water thanks to the added weight. Special sizes are possible by agreement from a suitably high order quantity.
PVC-Vinyl-Enten sind wasserfest und langlebig, aber nicht maschinenwaschbar. Empfohlen ist Handwäsche mit lauwarmem Wasser (bis 30 °C) und milder Seifenlösung – keine aggressiven Reiniger und keine Desinfektions-Kammer, das PVCi wird sonst matt und die Farben verlieren an Leuchtkraft. Bei Bade-Einsatz zuhause: nach jedem Bad die Blasebalg-Öffnung nach unten drehen und Restwasser ablaufen lassen, sonst kann sich innen mit der Zeit Feuchtigkeit sammeln (klassisches Ententeich-Problem). Für Deko-Aufsteller ohne Wasserkontakt reicht staubfreies Halten und gelegentliches Abwischen mit feuchtem Tuch. Die Ente behält Farbe und Quietsch-Funktion so über Jahre.
Inside the duck sits a small bellows with a small opening on the underside. When squeezed, the air is pressed out of the bellows and escapes through the opening, producing the typical squeaking sound. When released, the bellows fills with air again. Important: if water runs into the duck pond and does not drain, the squeaking sound becomes muffled until it disappears altogether — in that case, after bathing let the duck dry with the bellows opening facing down. All our models in the standard range are squeak-functional; individual decorative ducks such as the racing weight (MBW31208) are deliberately designed without a squeak function.
All profession and theme ducks are based on the same 80 mm standard silhouette and the same PVC-vinyl material - the difference lies in the printed or applied costume. The firefighter duck (MBW32041) wears a red uniform with a helmet, the nurse duck (MBW31181) has the white bonnet, the paramedic (MBW31254) the orange Hi-Vis jacket, the plumber (MBW31244) blue dungarees with tools, the THW duck (MBW131257) the blue operational clothing. For fantasy themes we stock unicorn, superduck, clown and glitter ducks; for seasonal occasions Christmas, Oktoberfest and beach outfit; for weddings bride and groom. The free print area for your logo varies with the costume - we discuss the precise positioning with you in advance.
