Beanies & hats for adults
Fine kniti, fold, fleecei lining — the knit hat that goes from the scaffolding via the Christmas market to the winter team photo.
Head warm, logo visible.
Explore the rangeThe winter classic with corporate impact
Beanies are the most honest winter investment for the head — an elastic knit that adapts to every head shape, a cuff as an optional double layer over the ears, and a fit that neither slips at -5 degrees on the scaffold nor when bending over the mulled wine stand. Exactly this combination makes them the favourite of craft businesses, clubs and corporate winter campaigns. When a construction foreman puts on the workshop beanie with embroidered company branding in November frost, it looks more professional than a nameless discount hat — it keeps warm, the logo sits visibly above the forehead, and it stays on the head when the wind sweeps across the construction site. At the Christmas market, stand crews wear identical beanies in corporate colours so customers recognise from ten metres away which stand they belong to. At the winter company run, 200 beanies with event motif are distributed – and because they are knitted as one size, no one has to be asked for sizes beforehand. Clubs use them as fan hats for the stadium because the wide cuff offers plenty of area for crests and sponsor logos, and the double-layered knit reliably warms even in frost. We carry 318 models from Beechfield, Daiber, Atlantis Headwear, Result Winter Essentials, L-merch and Korntex — from the classic fine-knit beanie in 100% acrylici to the fleecei beanie with breathablei inner lining for the ski slope.

6 Beanies & hats for adults you should know
Handpicked highlights from our assortment – for different requirements and budgets.
The beanie classic
Beechfield Original double-layered pull-on beanie with cuff
The reference beanie that has set the tone in Beechfield's catalogue for years: double-layer knit in 100% polyacrylici, classic fold cuff, shape-retaining crown and velvety feel. Exactly the silhouette everyone knows from the fan shop, from the Christmas market and from the construction-site morning. Huge colour palette, reliably available over years — the safe choice for merch and corporate orders with high quantities.
Organic standard with cuff
Beechfield Cuffed Beanie from organic cotton
The cuffed classic in EarthAware execution: 100% organic cottoni, OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 and fair working conditions certified. Soft cottoni knit instead of polyacrylici feel, pleasant on the skin even for sensitive scalps. The right choice for sustainable brand campaigns, ecologically positioned clubs and all customers who need the merch standard available in organic materials.
Fleece-lined warmth protection
Result Winter Essentials Light Thinsulate Beanie with Cuff
When it gets really cold, the classic thermal solution comes here: double-layer acrylici outer knit, light Thinsulatei lining inside for real thermal insulation without bulky volume. The cuff extends to ears and nape if needed. The reliable construction site and field service beanie that still keeps you warm at -10 degrees and still fits under any helmet.
Slouchy streetwear silhouette
Atlantis double-layered beanie in a variety of colours
The streetwear answer to the classic cuffed cut: loosely sitting slouch crown with an overlong cap that shows visible drape at the nape. 100% polyacrylici, double-layer knit, Italian workmanship. Exactly the silhouette that young target groups and fashion-label merch wear — deliberately softer and less military than the Beechfield classic. Great colour variety for collections with a CI colour.
Heavy coarse knit
Beechfield Chunky Beanie with detachable pompom
The heavy winter variant of the beanie classic: thick coarse-knit polyacrylici with considerably higher fabric weight than the standard CB45, plus a removable bobble for a flexible look. The cuffed fold adds a second layer over the ears if needed. Exactly the beanie that delivers the warmth at Christmas markets, winter sport events and cold-protection applications that the thin standard beanie can't manage.
Sports beanie with rPETi
Atlantis Workout Beanie Recycled with reflectors
The sport beanie for runners, cyclists and coaches: close, shape-retaining fit in 100% recycled polyesteri, breathablei and quick-drying instead of heavy polyacrylici knit. Integrated reflective stripes for visibility at dusk. Exactly the silhouette that doesn't slip under the helmet in winter training and wicks moisture — the professional club-coach beanie with a sustainability story.
What you can do with our Beanies & hats for adults
From band merch to corporate identity – the right model is the basis for a thousand ideas.
Corporate winter team & field service
When outdoor assembly starts in January or the sales team is at the winter trade fair, the company beanie belongs to corporate equipment like the polo shirt in summer. The CB45 from Beechfield's cuffed-classic line comes in corporate CI, can be neatly embroidered or fitted with a patch and, thanks to the familiar double-layer silhouette, looks professional rather than like a cheap promotional item. Reorderable for years in identical colour.
Club fan beanie for the fan shop
At the away game in November, fan beanies are the first item to sell out from the jerseyi range. The double-layered chunky cut like the CB412 with detachable pompom offers the heavy, weatherproof coarse-knit look that works on the terraces, and the large front area for the embroidered club logo. With cuffed roll pulled over the ears in seconds – the fan standard for winter-season merch.
Organic merch for sustainable brands
For campaigns with sustainability claims, the standard polyacrylici beanie is no longer enough. The CB830N in 100% organic cottoni, OEKO-TEX certified and fairly produced, delivers the certificates that compliance and marketing both need. Soft cotton feeli instead of synthetic knit, muted colour range — the right choice for NGO merch, organic retail and brands that want to show their fair-trade positioning on the head as well.
Streetwear label beanie
For fashion label collections and streetwear drops, the classic cuffed silhouette is too tame. The AT710 with slouchy, overlong crown in loose drape sets the current urban statement that works on Instagram and in the boutique environment. Italian workmanship, wide colour palette for capsule collections — the silhouette that young target groups accept as an authentic fashion item and don't dismiss as advertising goods.
Christmas market and event staff
At the mulled wine stand or Christmas market, the beanie in corporate design is the most visible uniform piece – the site operator recognises their team across the square, the customer immediately assigns the advice to the provider. The CB830N in organic cottoni with embroidered logo delivers the soft, skin-friendly handle that 8-hour shifts outdoors need, and looks more valuable than the typical promotional acrylic-discount cap.
Construction, trades and winter cold protection
On the construction site at sub-zero temperatures, the beanie decides concentration. The RC133 from Result Winter Essentials delivers Thinsulatei lining in lightweight volume that still fits under any helmet, and retains its warmth even in damp cold. The cuff pulls over the ears in seconds, the classic cuffed cut sits without slipping even during physical work – the reliable winter standard for craft businesses and outdoor assembly.
Five features that make a high-quality beanie
Material, knit type, construction, fit and lining determine whether a beanie is a simple head accessory or survives three seasons as a winter promotional carrier.
Material
Acrylic, fleece, cotton or merino
Acrylici is the easy-care winter standard and the right choice for corporate orders. Polyesteri fleecei dries fast and suits sublimation, cottoni fits the transitional season, merinoi remains a premium niche.
Knit type
Fine knit, coarse knit or rib knit
Fine kniti is smooth and offers the best area for embroidery. Coarse knit looks artisanal and warms a little better but lets more wind through. Rib kniti sits maximally elastic and tight — ideal for sport and under the helmet.
Workmanship
Cuffed with fold or smooth, double-layer or single-layer
Cuffed beanies warm the ears with a double layer and provide the classic embroidery area at eye level. Long beanies without cuff drape softer and are single-layered. Double-layer construction retains considerably more warmth than single-layer standard models.
Fit
Slouchy, long, classic short or close-fitting
Short beanies end above the ears and do not get in the way under a helmet or hood. Long drops slightly slack at the back, slouchy forms a hanging sack for the streetwear look. Tight ribbed models fit like a second skin.
Lining & inner fleece
Unlined, fleece headband or fully lined
Unlined is sufficient down to around -3 °C. A fleecei headband protects the cold-sensitive forehead without adding thicker volume. Full fleece lining is winter premium for construction and field service - but too warm in mild weather.
Six ways to the right beanie
Whether corporate winter kit, club fan shop or streetwear collection — here are the curated combinations of brand, material and construction that work in day-to-day B2B beanie use.
Corporate winter team in house colour
The cuffed classic from Beechfield is the safe pick for corporate merch: double-layer polyacrylic silhouette in over 30 colours, re-orderable for years in identical CI colour, ideal embroidery area on the front. For sustainability-positioned brands, alternatively the organic cotton variant CB830N. Both models deliver the professional appearance a premium customer gift expects.
Club fan beanie with chunky cut
For the fan shop in winter the heavy silhouette is needed: thick coarse knit, double-layer, ideally with a removable bobble. The chunky cut like the CB412 has a considerably more prominent presence on the stands and on the merch shelf than the thin standard beanie and offers the front area that a large embroidered club logo needs. Snowstar and bobble models complement for kids' fan merch and winter collections.
Organic beanie with certificates
When the compliance department wants to see certificates and marketing needs the Fair Trade story, Neutral's Fairtrade organic line comes into play: organic cotton, EU Ecolabel, Fairtrade certification, SA8000 and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 in one product. Beechfield's EarthAware beanies such as the CB830N deliver the certificate combination in a broader colour palette. Both routes position the brand credibly in the organic segment.
Trades and construction-site cold protection
On the construction site at -10 degrees, the beanie needs warmth, must fit under the helmet and must not slip during movement. Thinsulate linings deliver thermal insulation in compact volume, double-layered cuffed silhouettes keep ears warm without being bulky. Reflective beanies like the KX185 from Korntex complement PPE outfits for safety areas with increased visibility requirements.
Sports club and trainer beanie
In winter training, the classic acrylic knit is unsuitable – too heavy, too little breathability, too slow to dry. Sport polyester beanies like the AT123 from Atlantis or the CB315 with ponytail opening deliver moisture-wicking function, close shape-stable fit and fit under bike helmets and ski hats. Reflective details for visibility in dusk and night training round off the trainer's outfit.
Budget beanie for large runs
For promotional goods, sponsoring give-aways and large runs over 500 pieces, you need the reliable standard beanie at a low unit price. L-merch and Myrtle beach deliver OEKO-TEX-certified polyacrylic beanies in the typical cuffed cut that run embroidery-ready at any finisher and are available in large quantities without surprises. Fairly produced without the calculation tipping.
The most important beanie brands
Eight manufacturers cover over 95% of all beanie orders – from the Beechfield cuffed standard that dominates the range, through Atlantis's Italian streetwear line, to the price-performance reference of Result Winter Essentials.
Beechfield
The British brand dominates the beanie segment with 111 models — from the classic cuffed silhouette in over 30 colours via the EarthAware organic line to the technical Thinsulate and softshell models. The Beechfield beanie is the corporate and club standard: reliable re-orderability in identical colour over years, wide silhouette selection for every target group, every fabric weight and every price bracket.
Daiber
German brand with a clear focus on fair-trade production and OEKO-TEX certification. The range extends from the classic basic beanie via sport and running models with polyester function to the organic cotton winter beanie. Reflective models for safety zones, Thinsulate variants for construction-site cold protection. The brand for customers who expect certificates and variety in one order.
Atlantis Headwear
The streetwear and urban line of the Italian cap manufacturer Atlantis. Slouchy silhouettes with overlong crown, double-layer cuffed variants in a wide colour palette and premium-crafted organic cotton models. Less corporate focus, more boutique and label appeal — the choice for fashion brands and streetwear collections that want to set themselves apart from the classic promotional article look.
Result Winter Essentials
The dedicated winter line by Result with a clear price-performance focus: Thinsulate linings, double-layer polyacrylic silhouettes and fleece models in the price bracket that makes large runs calculable. Trapper hats with ear flaps, Sherpa hats and Polartherm fleece sets complement the classic cuffed beanie for extreme-weather applications and outdoor assembly clothing.
L-merch
The merchandising in-house brand with a clear focus on certified large runs. Almost the entire beanie range is OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certified and fairly produced — at a unit price that makes 500-piece and 1000-piece runs calculable for sponsoring and give-away campaigns. LED beanie, Santa hat and reindeer knit hat complement the classic basic silhouette for promotional and Christmas goods.
Atlantis
The main line of the Italian cap manufacturer with a clear focus on recycled polyester and organic cotton. Almost the entire beanie range uses recycled polyester with OEKO-TEX certification; models like the Yala and Nelson organic-cotton series deliver the premium look for brands that expect sustainability and Italian design in one product. Sport beanies like the Workout AT123 with reflectors round off the coach's equipment.
Korntex
German brand focused on PPE-compatible winter hats and occupational safety clothing. 3M Thinsulate lining, neon colours for hi-vis applications, elastic balaclavas and security beanies for professional use. The choice for construction companies, security firms and all operations that want to order their winter hats from the same catalogue as work gloves and nitrile protective gloves.
Myrtle beach
The fashion beanie line in the Daiber portfolio with a focus on seasonal and trend models. Metallic beanie for women's collections, hand-crocheted pompom hats with fleece band, heather summer beanie in oversize look and high-brim models for fashion displays. The complement to the classic cuffed standard for customers who seek seasonal fashion statements instead of timeless basics.
Beanies & hats – one cut for all
314 of the 318 adult beanies in our range are deliberately designed as unisexi models. The elastic fine kniti sits on every head – from narrower women's to large men's forms. Only 4 models are explicitly designed as women's beanies with metallic yarn or finer details (e.g. Myrtle beach MB7143 Metallic Pompon). Kids' beanies with adjusted head circumference and shorter capsule are found in our separate category with 61 models.

Which fabric, which cut?
Not every material and not every cut suits every project. Here you will find the right combination.
100% Cotton & Jersey
35 beanie models from cottoni or cotton-elastane jerseyi. Unlike winter yarn, cotton jersey delivers the soft, skin-friendly handle for spring, autumn and mild winter days – the capsule sits lightly and breathes along. Ideal for gastronomy, creative agencies, weekend merch and all applications where scratch sensitivity or all-year wearability matters more than maximum winter warmth. The matte handle takes embroidery and print cleanly.
Organic Cotton
20 beanie models with certified organic cottoni content – in the beanie segment, a deliberately curated niche offering with high certification density. Alongside GOTS and OEKO-TEX®, the Neutral models additionally carry Fairtrade Cottoni, EU Ecolabeli and SA8000i. Handle and workmanship remain identical to conventional cottoni, but the story values for environmentally conscious customers and CSR reports become significantly stronger – ideal for brands with sustainability ambitions.
Polyester fleece
Over 30 models with pure polyesteri fleecei or acrylic-fleece combination. The microfleecei construction (including Beechfield Suprafleece®, Result Polartherm™) dries quickly, insulates reliably even when wet and does not shrink even after many industrial washes. Often complemented by 3M Thinsulatei™ waddingi or wind- and water-repellenti finish - the premium choice for winter services, construction sites in winter, ski sport and all outdoor use in wet and severe cold.
100% Polyacrylic knit
Over 180 models in pure acrylici knit - the dominant material choice in the beanie range. Acrylic delivers the wool-like feel and warmth performance without the scratchy effect and without wash sensitivity, is colourfast, shape-retaining and predictably budget-friendly to decorate. Double-layer constructions (Beechfield, Atlantis) increase the warmth reserve, elastanei blends (2-5%) improve the fit. The safe standard choice for all winter campaigns without special requirements.
Taking responsibility
Organic Cotton, Fairtrade, recycled materials: sustainability is our standard.
from fair production - just under a third of the beanie range manufactured under certified fair working conditions
Models with certified organic cottoni content — in the beanie segment a deliberately curated niche offering, often combined with Fairtrade Cottoni and EU Ecolabeli
with recycled polyesteri content from PET reprocessing - especially in the Beechfield Recycled line (CB385R, CB243R) and the Atlantis winter beanies
Models with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification — tested for harmful substances and suitable for sensitive skin contact at the forehead and ears
All about Beanies & hats for adults
For 90 percent of all corporate orders, 100 % polyacrylici is the right choice: the feel is wool-like, the hat stays shape-retaining, it's easy-care and the price remains calculable for 50-piece or 100-piece runs. We recommend cottoni beanies only for the transition season from September to October or for spring events, because they don't warm enough at low temperatures. Merinoi is a premium niche product — a genuine merino beanie is quickly in the two-digit unit price and is almost only worthwhile for outdoor brands that actively communicate wooli as a selling point. If a pooled order for 100 beanies is to run, polyacrylic is practically without alternative.
The fold is the corporate standard: it warms the ears with a double layer, offers a level embroidery area at eye level for the logo and is worn equally by all age groups between 25 and 65. Long beanies without a fold look sportier and younger — they are the right choice for events with target group under 35, for winter company runs or for clubs with a young fan base. Slouchy beanies with a deliberately overlong cut remain a lifestyle niche; for the B2B standard order they are too specific. In doubt: order the cuffed beanie with fold, then you hit the widest target group.
Beanies are almost exclusively embroidered, not printed — and for a simple reason: the knit structure of the surface makes transfer printi and screen print difficult, because colour seeps between the meshes and breaks after a few washes. Embroidery, on the other hand, sets into the fabric, survives many wash cycles and looks high-quality. On the cuffed beanie, the embroidery sits centred on the cuff above the forehead, on long beanies centred on the front. Sublimation print is the only exception — it works on fleecei beanies from 100% polyesteri and delivers full-area photo quality, but is limited to pure fleece models.
Despite the wool-like appearance, you must not treat 100% acrylici beanies like wooli: the wool wash cycle with special wool detergents offers no benefit here and, because of the low temperature, cannot fully remove greases and skin residues. Hand-washing in lukewarm water at around 30 degrees with a mild delicates detergent is recommended; then let the beanie dry flat on a towel so that it keeps its shape. A 30-degree machine wash on the delicate cycle is possible but shortens the service life and causes embroidery to fray faster. Tumble drying is off-limits - the elasticity is permanently lost.
Yes, in practice the beanie one-size system works reliably for nearly all adults with a head circumference between 54 and 62 cm. The elastic knit — especially in ribbed construction — adapts to the shape of the head without constricting, and sits comfortably on both very small and larger heads. For corporate orders from 25 pieces you therefore don't need to request a size chart; a single order quantity covers your entire team. Exceptions are very small children's heads (for which we have a dedicated kids' beanies category) and a few extra-short sports beanies where the manufacturer explicitly offers two sizes.
Yes, this is one of the main use cases in the winter merch business. For corporate orders we recommend cuffed beanies in 100% acrylici in your house colour, embroidered logos on the cuff in up to three colours, and a minimum order that starts at 25 to 50 pieces depending on the brand. Get in touch directly — we calculate embroidery costs including digitisation of your logo and supply sample photos before production starts. Lead times for customised beanies are typically 10 to 15 working days; for the main winter season from November we recommend orders arriving by early October at the latest.
Single-layer beanies are sufficient for everyday use down to around -3 degrees — commute to work, short stops at the Christmas market stand, winter company run with physical activity. We recommend double-layer beanies with an additional inner layer for all applications where wearers stay outside for hours: construction, field service, security service, winter market stand without a heated retreat. The extra cost is typically one to two Euros per piece and is always worthwhile when the beanie is not just an advertising medium but actual work equipment.
The reason is simply the price: a beanie in pure merinoi or virgin wooli already costs a two-digit figure per piece at purchase, while 100 % polyacrylici beanies with almost identical look and similar warmth performance can be produced considerably cheaper. For corporate orders with 100-piece runs the cost difference is decisive — polyacrylic wins practically always. Wool remains reserved for the niche: outdoor brands that actively use natural material as a selling point, or premium winter collections with very small quantities. If you explicitly need wool, talk to us — we also curate merino models from the extended manufacturer catalogue for special projects.
