All about Trucker Caps
6-panel is the classic baseball silhouette: six identically cut segments form a higher, evenly rounded crown with a visible centre seam – the familiar, serious look. It is the safe choice for clubs, corporate merch, trades and mixed teams, because the fit feels familiar and the look is target-group-neutral. 5-panel, in contrast, runs the middle front panel as one piece, which makes the cap look considerably flatter and more urban. The look comes from the skate and music scene and is the current streetwear reference – particularly popular with craft-beer brewers, food trucks, barbershops and brands with a target group under 35. Rule of thumb: if you think of a clubhouse, tradesperson's cabin or sales appointment, take 6-panel; if you think of a skatepark, food truck or craft bar, take 5-panel.
Curved peak - the slightly curved classic - is the timeless baseball shape and suits all age groups and target audiences. For clubs, trades teams, corporate orders and mixed audiences, curved is always the safe choice. Flat peak - the completely flat brim - comes straight out of US hip-hop and skate culture and is a clear streetwear signature. It works very well with under-35 audiences, craft brands and music labels - but quickly looks costume-like on the over-45s. Between the two extremes there are slightly pre-curved models that wearers can shape further themselves as they please. For motorsport and racing teams we recommend curved in two-tone (light front, dark back) - that's the classic pit-crew look.

Trucker Caps should be cleaned as gently as possible - the foam or buckram stiffening in the front does not tolerate mechanical stress in a full washing-drum cycle. We recommend hand washing in warm water with a mild detergent, or alternatively machine washing at 30 degrees on a delicate cycle with a reduced spin speed (max. 600 rpm). Place the cap in a wash bag so it does not get caught on other textiles. Consistently avoid fabric softener and the tumble dryer - the snap closure can warpi in the heat and the foam front can permanently crease. After washing, press the cap back into shape and let it dry flat over a hemisphere (e.g. a large mixing bowl or cap dryer). Do not iron, especially not on the front - this would damage the motif, foam and seams.

Beide Versteifungen bleiben nach Waschzyklen formstabil, sofern die Cap nach der Wäsche in Form aufgesetzt oder über einer Halbkugel getrocknet wird - nicht im Trockner!
