Winter jackets & parkas for adults
When sleet is falling outside and the client meeting still goes ahead.
Water column, warmth and your logo - in one jacket.
Explore the rangeWhen 10,000 mm water column saves the day
A winter jacket is not just a winter jacket. The construction foreman who checks the barrier in wet snow at 6:30 needs something completely different from the sales manager who steps out of the car in persistent rain for a client meeting in Hamburg. And the courier who carries parcels from the loading area for eight hours has different requirements from the event staff at the Christmas market mulled wine stand, where warmth counts and rain is rather rare. We have 219 models from Regatta Professional, Daiber, Tee Jays, Stormtech and others specialised for precisely these cases. From the classic padded jacket for indoor courtyard use to the fully sealed membrane jacket with 20,000 mm water column for persistent rain. Important for corporate use: all models can be decorated with your logo - on membrane jackets, however, only by transfer printi, not by embroidery (more on this later). Sizes from XS to 5XL cover the entire team, including layering allowance. Anyone who works outside in winter knows the difference between a jacket that lasts and one that is soaked through after two hours.

What you can do with our Winter jackets & parkas for adults
From band merch to corporate identity – the right model is the basis for a thousand ideas.
Corporate winter for field service & reception
The field representative steps out of the company car, the client approaches the front door — and the winter jacket has to show in seconds which company is ringing. The RG255 Pro Pilot in heavy company colours with embroidered chest logo is made exactly for this: warming enough for the cold car park, serious enough for the living-room appointment.
Construction, trades & winter service
When the construction site starts at 5:30 in the morning and the driver has already shovelled grit for two hours, the jacket has to withstand something. The RT72 Heavy Duty Combo Coat with 600D Oxfordi and PVCi coatingi delivers exactly the robustness that construction and winter service teams need across entire seasons - cut large so that the fleecei pullover fits underneath.
Christmas market, mulled wine stand & winter event
From the company Christmas market stand to the winter customer event at the alpine hotel: the team stands outside for hours, smiles, pours punch. The JN1120 quilted jacket in a uniform colour with embroidered logo keeps you warm at -5 degrees without looking as bulky as a builder's jacket - ideal for all public-facing occasions with a company presence.
Sports club: coaching bench in January
Local-league coaches, youth coaches, youth coordinators — they stand on the sideline in drizzle at half-time and need to look like a club, not a random crowd of spectators. The RT194F Snow Bird Hooded women's jacket plus RT192 Ice Bird for the men's coaching staff, both in club colour, with an embroidered crest — clean coaching-bench look throughout the winter half-year.
Sustainable corporate kit
Sustainability report, ESG mandate, GOTS aspiration — when the winter jacket order is to be part of a credible green story, the RT912 in 100% recycled nyloni is the honest choice. No greenwashing label, but a genuine material cycle, documentable for auditors and customers. Fits exactly right on the corporate blog.
Drivers, logistics & courier
The handover happens at the ramp, in the rain, in the wind. Drivers and courier teams need a winter jacket that opens and closes 20 times per shift, isn't too warm in the cab, seals immediately outside. The RG297 Dover with fleecei lining and hood does exactly that — reduced design, strong company colour, embroidered logo area on the sleeve so it doesn't get scratched during delivery.
What the properties mean
Water column & membrane
How much rain the jacket really keeps out.
The water column (mm) measures at what water pressure the fabric lets through. Rule of thumb: 5,000 mm for normal rain, from 10,000 mm you stay dry even in 20-minute showers, 20,000 mm is all-day professional level.
Insulation & warmth performance
Padding, down or PrimaLoft - what really keeps you warm?
Decisive for down is the fill power (cuin), for synthetic fibre the surface weight (g/m²). 200 g/m² polyesteri padding covers mild winter, 280 g/m² or PrimaLoft we recommend for wet conditions and all-day outdoor use.
Breathability (MVTR/RET)
So the sales manager isn't left standing in their own sweat.
MVTR indicates how much water vapour escapes to the outside per m² and 24 h. 3,000–5,000 g is enough for corporate use, from 8,000 g for physical work. RET value as an alternative: under 6 very good, over 20 critical.
Construction & workmanship
Seams, zips, storm flap — the details decide.
Taped or welded seams are a must, otherwise even a high water column doesn't help. Important: waterproofi front zip or storm flapi, adjustable hood — for hi-vis additionally EN ISO 20471 Class 2 or 3.
Fit & hood
Regular, fitted, with detachable hood — depending on use.
Because of layering, choose one size larger. Regular fiti suits construction, drivers and events, slim looks more elegant in the corporate environment. A detachable hood is essential as soon as a helmet is worn from time to time.
Six ways to the right winter jacket
Whether leadership team, construction crew or club coaching bench — here are the curated combinations of brand, construction and features that actually work in B2B winter.
Corporate sales team
The field representative stands 20 seconds outside the front door before entering the client's office — in these 20 seconds the jacket decides the first impression. Important: matt or semi-matt surface (not shiny cheap), muted colours (navy, anthracite, black), clean collar, room for discreet chest embroidery.
Construction, trades & winter service
Here 600D Oxford fabrics, PVC coatings and reinforced seams count — no fashion cuts. The jacket has to fit over other layers (fleece, hi-vis vest), under the jacket there has to be room for glove-drawcord bands. Preferably Result WORK-GUARD and Regatta Professional Workwear lines.
Christmas market & winter event
At the Christmas market stand, the team stands eight hours on an ice-cold floor. The jacket must keep warm and simultaneously look uniform in the photo. Discreet quilting, reliably available colour, large chest embroidery area – no ski jacket look, but a serious-cheerful look.
Sports club coaches & support staff
The coaching bench look comes from consistency: the same colour for all support staff, but tapered for the women and regular for the men. Ideally quilted jackets with a clear field for crest and sponsor embroidery, robust enough for twice-weekly training in drizzle.
Recycled & sustainable
For ESG reports, sustainability brochures and customers with explicit green requirements. Prefer models with 100% recycled outer and inner material (not only partly recycled), GRS-certified where available. Result Recycled and Tee Jays GRS series deliver the most honest evidence here.
Budget winter for large runs
When the entire sales team, the temporary staff or a complete branch is to be outfitted, the unit price counts. SOL'S and Roly deliver large colour cards here, XS to 3XL, stable reorder history - without the jacket looking like a one-season promotional item in the end.
The most important winter jacket brands
Eight manufacturers cover over 90% of all corporate winter jacket orders – from construction to boardroom, from recycled to heavy duty. Here is what each brand stands for.
Regatta Professional
The reference brand for corporate winter jackets in Germany and the UK. Hydrafort membranes, Thermoguard padding and Isotex constructions deliver a plannable combination of weather protection and serious appearance. Consistently available over years — perfect for companies that want to top up every two years.
Daiber / James & Nicholson
Daiber is the German versatility champion: with its two in-house brands James & Nicholson and myrtle beach, the manufacturer covers the entire winter range — from the light transitional blouson through winter sports membrane jackets to the business quilted jacket. High share of women's cuts and quality details like chin guards.
Tee Jays
Scandinavian premium brand with a modern, close-to-body cut and carefully selected quality padding (DuPont Sorona instead of cheap fill). The 9600 series is the first choice when the winter jacket really has to match the suit - serious, understated, no promotional look. Also GRS ripstop for sustainable customers.
SOL'S
French volume supplier with a huge colour range and stable re-order history. From the light neon quilted jacket to the serious Wilson down jacket, SOL'S affordably covers the entire winter spectrum. Women's and men's cuts consistently in parallel — ideal for mixed teams that should appear uniform.
Result
British workbench brand with the broadest core line in the winter segment. Cheltenham, Ice Bird and Snow Bird are the reference cuts for everything between clubhouse and reception. Women's (RT194F) and men's version (RT194M) systematically parallel – bench look at the club from a single source.
Result Recycled
Result's Recycled line consistently relies on 100% recycled nylon and TOPGREEN polyester — not partially recycled but throughout, so that sustainability reports remain robust. For customers with ESG requirements, GOTS aspirations or green storytelling, the most honest choice in the winter segment.
Roly
Spanish supplier with a strong focus on quilted jackets and light winter jackets. Norway, Finland, Makalu and Surgut deliver a coherent family of women's and men's models with matching colours - ideal when a whole team is to be uniformly dressed in understated quilting.

Which fabric, which cut?
Not every material and not every cut suits every project. Here you will find the right combination.
Membrane & water column
The water column measures the water pressure that a fabric withstands before moisture penetrates — measured in millimetres according to DIN EN 20811. From 1,300 mm a fabric counts as waterproofi, for permanent weather protection on the construction site and winter service it should be 5,000 mm, for winter sports and heavy rain 10,000 mm or more. 32 of our adult winter jackets reach at least 5,000 mm, 14 models are at 8,000 mm or above. Important: PU coatings deliver high water columns but lose breathabilityi faster — genuine membranes such as Isotex or AquaDry last considerably longer.
Insulation & padding
Modern insulated jackets rely almost exclusively on synthetic high-performance padding: DuPont™ Sorona®i with partly plant-based origin (Daiber, 8 models), Warmloft by Regatta Professional for heatable systems and classic 100 g/m² polyesteri padding as a price-stable standard solution. Advantage over down: stays warm even when wet, is washable at 40°, hypoallergenic and vegan. Fill-power figures are deliberately omitted — warmth performance is controlled via padding weight (60 to 240 g/m²) and loft structure. Classic 90/10 down jackets we now carry only from Elevate Life and James & Nicholson in the lightweight segment.
Recycling & certificates
43 of our adult winter jackets have a share of recycled polyesteri from PET reprocessing, one model additionally carries recycled nyloni. The strongest recycling story is held by Regatta Honestly Made (entirely from recycled materials, with Bluesign claim), Result Recycled and Result Genuine Recycled, plus NEOBLU with environmentally conscious material selection. 77 models carry OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 for pollutant testing, 95 are made under certified fair working conditions. PFC-free DWRi impregnation is increasingly becoming standard – check the individual product detail page for the current finish specification.
Breathability (MVTR/RET)
A waterproofi winter jacket without breathabilityi becomes a sauna — moisture from inside condenses on the membrane and cools down. The MVTR value (water vapour permeability in g/m²/24h) and the RET value (resistance to water vapour passage) describe how well the jacket wicks body moisture outwards. 48 of our adult winter jackets are explicitly rated breathable — a must for winter sports and active construction-site work. Additionally, many models work with ventilation zips under the arms or on the back to also dissipate warmth during peak exertion.
Taking responsibility
Organic Cotton, Fairtrade, recycled materials: sustainability is our standard.
with OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 - more than a third of the adult winter jacket range pollutant-tested
Models from certified fair working conditions — around 43% of the range
with recycled polyesteri content from PET reprocessing - especially in the Regatta Honestly Made and Result Recycled line
Models explicitly labelled vegan — no down, feathers or animal ingredients in padding and lining
All about Winter jackets & parkas for adults
The water column (in mm) is a standardised value according to EN 343i and indicates how much water pressure the fabric withstands before it lets through. From 1,500 mm a jacket officially counts as waterproofi, but that is far from practical. For daily corporate use we recommend at least 5,000 mm — with that you'll comfortably get through 30 minutes of rain. 10,000 mm is the mark from which even hours of continuous rain are no longer an issue. Those who work outdoors daily (construction, post, courier) should reach for 20,000 mm — that's the range where even kneeling contact with wet ground lets nothing through.
Coatedi jackets have a thin polyurethanei layer (PU coatingi) on the inside that makes the fabric waterproofi — cheap to manufacture, but the layer ages and flakes off after 2-3 years of intensive use. Real membrane jackets (e.g. eVent, Sympatex, similar systems) have a permanently built-in microporous membrane between outer and inner fabric that keeps out water while allowing water vapour to escape outwards. Membrane jackets are more expensive to purchase but last 5-10 years and breathe significantly better. For heavy users clearly the better investment, for occasional use a PU-coated jacket usually suffices.
Polyesteri padding (180–280 g/m²) is the robust all-rounder — warms reliably, is washable, budget and does not completely lose its performance even when wet. Standard for most corporate jackets. Down (fill power 600–700 cuin) warms significantly better at the same weight but collapses when wet — hence unsuitable for field service and construction, good for dry cold and representative occasions. PrimaLoft and similar high-tech synthetic fibres are the premium choice: warm like down, work even when wet, are light and packable. They cost more but are the best solution for frequent travellers and active professions.
MVTR stands for Moisture Vapour Transmission Rate and measures how much water vapour passes through the fabric to the outside per m² and 24 hours. In plain terms: how well the jacket breathes. A jacket without breathabilityi turns into a sauna within half an hour — you sweat, the moisture stays in, the underwear gets wet, you freeze despite the insulation. For everyday office use 3,000–5,000 g/m²/24h is enough. Anyone doing physical work or a lot of walking should look for 8,000–15,000 g/m²/24h. Alternatively the RET value is stated: under 6 = very breathable, over 20 = barely breathable.
When finishing membrane jackets, caution is required: embroidery pierces the membrane and makes the jacket leak at the embroidery point — water will run in there long-term. For membrane jackets, therefore, use exclusively transfer printi (thermal transfer, flex print), which is applied to the surface without penetrating the material. Even with coatedi jackets, transfer print is the gentler choice. On padded jackets without membrane/coating, embroidery is unproblematic. We are happy to advise you on the appropriate finish for your jacket choice.
For the corporate winter we recommend discreet fits (Regular or tailored), muted colours (black, marine, anthracite) and finishing on chest or sleeve — not a large surface on the back. Your logo should be placed in uniform size (approx. 8-10 cm width on the chest) and position across all team jackets. Make sure the jacket is re-orderable over several years — if the manufacturer changes the model, your team will look uneven in the third year. We carry several series with long-term availability (Regatta Professional, Daiber, Tee Jays).
Wash membrane jackets and coatedi jackets at 30 °C on the delicate cycle with liquid detergent (no powder, no fabric softener!). Fabric softener clogs the membrane and makes it leak in the long term. After several washes, refresh the impregnation with a re-proofing spray (e.g. Nikwax, Fibertec) so that water beads off again. A tumble-dryer cycle at low temperature additionally reactivates the impregnation. Padded jackets without a membrane tolerate 40 °C; with down, a special down detergent and a generous tumble-dryer cycle with tennis balls is mandatory so that the down lofts up again.
Winter jackets are almost always worn over a shirt, pullover or fleecei - layering. You should therefore choose one size larger than your summer size (i.e. XL instead of L). For tapered jackets (slim/modern fit) the allowance is especially important because there is less space under the arm. For construction and active professions with a thick fleece or softshelli mid-layer, even two sizes larger. With regular fiti, one size is usually enough. When in doubt, our size charts are stored with every item - orient yourself by the chest measurement with mid-layer.
