Women's Fit

German industrial classic work trousers from Terrax Workwear – the traditional basis for industrial companies and Chamber-of-Trades traditional outfits. Robust construction, classic regular Fiti and wide clothing size range up to 60.
What you can do with our Work trousers & Bib overalls
From band merch to corporate identity – the right model is the basis for a thousand ideas.
Tilers & floor layers with knee pads
For businesses that work on their knees for several hours daily, the RT310 with patch knee pad pockets and a robust 65/35 base is the standard pick. Two certifiable CE pad compartments and Cordura reinforcement on the outer pockets withstand daily ground friction.
Electricians & service technicians in customer service
For electricians, plumbing and plant customer service, the RG44700 with holster pockets and polyamide-Elastane stretch is the fitting answer: tool foldable at the leg, full freedom of movement in overhead work and optically clean enough for the customer meeting.
Team equipment for industrial companies
For industrial companies with unified team outfits and factory laundry, the JN832 from Daiber is the reliable basis: 65/35 classic, broad colour and Size choice, polyamidei trim at the stress points and German distribution structure with long-term re-orderability.
Female tradesperson – women's fit rather than compromise
For female tradespeople and painters, the RG62500 is the Women's stretch classic: fitted cuti, less width in hip and thigh, yet with full work trousers configuration. Complementary the RT308F from Result Workguard with knee pad pockets specifically for Women.
Sustainable CSR operation
Customer service technician in a jeans look
For plumbing, motor-vehicle or electrical customer service with home visits, the PW567 by Premier Workwear is the right choice: 98/2 cotton-elastane base in a dark jeans look with a straight-leg cut – functional like work trousers, but looking like everyday jeans.
What the waistband and bib-overall properties really mean
Five properties decide the benefit and wear of your work trousers on the construction site – we explain what they mean and when to choose which version.
Knee-pad pockets
Removable CE pads for knee work
Externally patched or internally sewn pockets for removable pads. Anyone who works several hours a day on their knees – tilers, floor layers, plumbing installers – cannot avoid this feature, otherwise the time and disc damage after five years will cost more than any workweari.
Material & Fibre Composition
Why 65/35 remains the industrial standard
Pocket equipment
Folding rule, hammer, nails and screws at hand
What makes tradesman everyday life efficient are not the big cargo pockets but the specialised pockets: folding-rule pocket on the side of the right leg, nail or screw pockets at the front with a flap (lose nothing when bending), hammer loop on the left, zipped rear pockets as theft protection. Rule of thumb: the finer the trade, the more important the small-item pockets.
Work trousers or Bib overall
The classic difference in cut
Work trousers means classic hip-belt Work trousers as worn by 80% of tradespeople. Bib overall means Work trousers with a chest bib and two adjustable straps – the classic carpenter and painter look, because the bib does not slip when bending and the waistline protects the back. Anyone who bends and works overhead a lot is ergonomically better off with a Bib overall, but risks sweaty back textiles in summer.
Certification, reflectors and recycling
Visibility, standards and sustainable manufacturing
Six ways to the right tradesman trousers
Whether kneepad classic for tilers, stretch trousers for service technicians or high-visibility protection for the building site - here are the curated combinations of features, material and brand that work in trade daily use.
Knee-pad waistband trouser for floor work
65/35 classic with patch knee-pad pockets and Cordura reinforcement at knees and seat. Ideal for tilers, floor layers, screed layers and plumbing installers – the kit you wear for a tradesperson's life.
Stretch waistband trousers for service engineering
Polyamide-elastane or cotton-elastane stretch with holster pockets and DWR impregnation. For electricians, plumbing customer service and service technicians who switch between workshop, vehicle and client appointment and are out in all weathers.
Team equipment for industrial companies
The industry standard 65% Polyester / 35% Cotton with a classic regular Fit and a broad clothing size range. For team outfits in industrial companies where all colleagues should wear the same model – German brands preferred for consistent re-orderability.
Women's tradesperson trousers
Tailored women's model with a narrower hip, adjusted waistband and still the full work-trouser equipment. For tradeswomen, painters and landscaping teams in which the unisex compromise sits too wide and closes poorly.
Sustainable workwear
Recycled polyester (rPET) and environmentally friendly impregnations like BIONIC FINISH ECO without compromises on robustness and fit. For municipal tenders and CSR-oriented companies that want to wear sustainability visibly on the label.
High-visibility-adjacent work trousers
Work trousers with reflective elements and EN-adjacent certifications. For trades businesses that occasionally work in traffic areas – between everyday Work trousers and full hi-vis protection the pragmatic combined choice. Complements a separate hi-vis Vest to EN ISO 20471 class 2.
The most important work trousers & Bib overalls brands
Six workweari specialists cover most of the range - from British outdoor workwear through German industrial standard to French all-rounders. Here is what each brand stands for in day-to-day trades work.
Regatta Professional
British brand with roots in the outdoor area that has consistently aligned its workwear segment to robust, weatherproof tradesperson trousers. Cargo trousers with Polyamide trim, stretch models with DWR impregnation and holster fittings for Service technology – the brand with the strongest offering of modern stretch Work trousers in the range.
Daiber
German Daiber group with the brand James & Nicholson – the basic range for industrial companies and trades businesses with German distribution and long-term re-orderability. The STRONG line is the classic 65/35 industry standard with polyamide trim, along with stretch models with BIONIC FINISH ECO for environmentally conscious businesses.
Result Workguard
Result Workguard is the workwear specialist line of the British-European manufacturer Result with the widest feature range in the assortment. Cargo work trousers with reflectives, kneepad pockets, Cordura reinforcements and X-Over holster systems - the reference for trade operations looking for full features without detours.
Terrax Workwear
Terrax Workwear is the German industrial classic brand in the range - conservative design, robust 65/35 base and a wide Size range. The classic for industrial companies and traditional trades businesses that rely on the tried-and-tested and are not looking for fashion experiments in workwear.
Roly Workwear
Roly Workwear is the tradesperson line of the Spanish manufacturer Roly with a versatile offer: multipocket jeans with stretch content, classic twill work trousers and EN-certified models for building sites with traffic management. Attractively priced and with a modern cut, good for businesses looking for a lighter alternative to the German industrial standard.
SOL'S ProWear
SOL'S ProWear is the workwear line of the French manufacturer SOL'S and is represented in the range with two complementary models. For businesses that already rely on SOL'S in the corporate segment and are looking for a matching workwear complement with a consistent brand story. French-pragmatic cut, fair prices, good colour stability.

Which fabric, which cut?
Not every material and not every cut suits every project. Here you will find the right combination.
65% polyester / 35% cotton
Cordura and polyamide reinforcements
8 models with Polyamidei trim (Cordura or comparable) at knees, seat and knee-pad pockets – the most abrasion-resistant fabric processed in workweari. Extends the trousers' service life under daily floor work to 2-3 years instead of 6-12 months. The premium pays off quickly for screed layers, carpenters and roofers – less relevant for electricians and plumbers without floor contact.
Stretch with Elastane content
Taking responsibility
Organic Cotton, Fairtrade, recycled materials: sustainability is our standard.
with recycled Polyesteri content from rPETi processing - especially in the Result Recycled line
Daiber James&Nicholson; Cargo-Hose mit umweltfreundlicher PFC-freier Imprägnierungi ECO
Present as base certification on most models in the range – the minimum requirement for any serious workweari brand
typical lifespan of a Cordura-reinforced tradesman's trouser in daily floor work - considerably more than standard versions
All about Work trousers & Bib overalls
Work trousers are the classic hip-band work trousers with belt loops and sit at the hip bone like normal jeans. They're flexible to put on and take off and the standard for 80% of all trades businesses where colleagues have changing tasks and combine tops and bottoms over the day. Bib overalls add a chest bib and two adjustable straps over the shoulders. The bib protects the back and belly from pulling at the waistband when bending, the straps prevent the classic slipping during deep knee bends. For carpenters, painters and drywall installers who work overhead or deep down for hours, Bib overalls are ergonomically the better choice – in summer, however, the back beneath sweats significantly more than in work trousers. Rule of thumb: anyone who works overhead or on their knees more than 60 minutes a day should try Bib overalls.
Most models include the knee-pad pockets, but the pads themselves are accessories and ordered separately. This is standard in the industry because different trades need different pad densities and shapes: tilers prefer softer gel pads for long spells on the floor, screed layers prefer firmer foam pads for uneven surfaces, and plumbing installers often go for solid foam for short bursts of loading. When ordering, check which pads are recommended and whether they are certified to EN 14404 - only certified pads pass employers' liability inspection. For team kit, we recommend specifying the pads at the same time, otherwise some of your colleagues will end up working without protection and the investment in knee-pad pockets is wasted. For questions about suitable pads please contact us directly - we cross-reference the models with the manufacturers' recommendations.
Work trousers come in classic clothing sizes from 42 to 60 (European numbering) or as S/M/L/XL/XXL. For ordering without trying on, it has proved effective to ask the employee for their current work-trouser size and then do a size comparison with us – every brand fits slightly differently. Regatta Professional and Result Workguard are cut to British standard, meaning slightly shorter in the back and wider in the hip than the German brands Daiber and Terrax Workwear. Roly Workwear (Spanish) often runs a size tighter, SOL'S ProWear (French) a bit more generous. For mixed team orders we recommend a uniform brand so that sizes fit consistently. For women employees, a women's cut (RT308F, RG62500) is almost always the better choice than a small men's size – the cut at the hip and thigh is noticeably more suitable.
Cordura is a particularly abrasion-resistant polyamidei fabric from the American manufacturer Invista, used in workweari as reinforcement on knees, seat and knee pad pockets. The extra cost is always worth it when the trousers rub against rough surfaces daily: screed layers on fresh concrete, carpenters on gravel, roofers on bitumen. In these trades a standard pair of trousers lasts 6-12 months, a Cordura-reinforced pair 2-3 years – so the extra cost of 10-25 euros pays for itself several times over. For trades without ground contact (electricians, plumbers, automotive) the standard version is usually sufficient – here the wear occurs elsewhere (cargo pockets from tools), not on the floor. Make sure that the Cordura reinforcement is present both at the knees and the seat – just one of the two is usually not enough for daily kneeling work.
Yes, the range includes selected high-visibility trousers certified to EN ISO 20471 in signal orange or yellow, usually with reflective strips running around the legs. These models are mandatory on building sites with traffic management, in road construction, sewer construction, winter road service and for all outdoor work with vehicle traffic nearby. The certification class is decisive for your order: class 1 (legwear alone) is sufficient when combined with a class 2 vest or jacket; class 2 as legwear alone covers the most common site situations. If you are unsure which class is required for your use case, contact us directly - we align the requirements with your employers' liability insurance body and recommend the right models. For businesses that only occasionally need high-visibility protection, a combinable basic trouser with reflective elements plus a separate high-visibility vest is often the more economical route.
