300D polyester
Also known as: 300D Oxford
Medium-weight polyester for backpacks, travel bags and training vests.
Description
300D polyester sits between light 210D and heavy 600D. At 150-200 g/m2 it strikes a solid balance of ruggedness, hand and weight. Classic uses are school packs, travel bags, gym bags and club kits. In workwear 300D reinforces backs and bottoms of tool cases and light cargo modules. PU coatings deliver 1500-3000 mm hydrostatic head per EN ISO 811, and Martindale abrasion is typically 15,000-25,000 cycles per ISO 12947. It takes digital and screen print well, popular for printable promo items. It is rarely the base fabric for EN ISO 20471 hi-vis (which needs certified fluorescent substrate) but frequently used for pockets and straps.
