Description
600D polyester is the industry workhorse for daily bags, driver and craftsman packs, hi-vis vest carriers and promotional bags. Woven in Oxford at 270-330 g/m2, usually PU-coated, it delivers 3000-5000 mm hydrostatic head per EN ISO 811 and 30,000-50,000 Martindale cycles per ISO 12947. It is the sweet spot of price, weight and durability. In workwear it reinforces bib-and-brace backs, tool-bag bottoms and add-on pockets. It takes digital, screen and transfer print and embroidery very well. For higher abrasion move to 900D, 1000D Cordura or 1680D. Its heavier sibling 600D HD adds a thicker coating for wet and site conditions.
