Lightweight Milano jersey with fine-rib structure, stretchy and reversible — the softer, sportier sibling of Milano double knit.
Description
Milano jersey is a lighter take on the classic Milano bind. Instead of a heavy double knit, the fabric is a flexible, reversible jersey with a fine, barely visible rib structure. Weight is 160-230 g/m²; it is mostly knitted from viscose or cotton/elastane yarns.
The fabric has a very soft, stretchy hand, minimal curling and a silky drape. It is used for corporate dresses, skirts, sporty-elegant blazers and women's blouses. Compared to true Milano double knit, it is thinner, drapes softer and feels more casual while still offering the typical Milano dimensional stability.
