Description
Polygiene Stays Fresh is an antimicrobial textile finish by Swedish company Polygiene AB (Malmoe). Active agent: silver chloride (AgCl) from recycled silver, permanently bonded to the fibre. Silver ions disturb the cell metabolism of odour-causing bacteria and fungi at very low concentrations.
Effect: garments do not smell even after several workouts – washing intervals can, per manufacturer, be tripled, saving water and energy. Wash-stable up to 100 cycles. Certificates: bluesign, OEKO-TEX Eco Passport, EPA-registered. Used in sport, ski and corporate wear. Difference from Sanitized: same principle, different supplier.
