4-thread overlock

Overlock with two needles and two loopers – load-bearing standard seam for T-shirts and sweat fabric.
Description
The 4-thread overlock (ISO 4915 class 512/514) adds a second needle line to the 3-thread overlock. This double safeguard raises seam strength to 70–130 N/cm at 30–45 % stretch and keeps the seam tear-proof under load.
It is the most common ready-to-wear seam for T-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, hoodies and baby bodies. Because the second needle sits only millimetres from the first, the seam still lies flat. Sewn on industrial overlock machines like Pegasus M752, Juki MO-6716, Yamato AZ8500 with textured yarn.
