Ladies' zipper

Zipper that closes from right to left – typical for womenswear.
Description
The ladies' zipper differs from the men's zipper by its closing direction: the slider moves from right to left, the right tape carries the teeth, the left one guides. This convention dates back to historic ladies' wardrobes in which maids closed from the right rear. Made as plastic-coil, plastic-tooth or metal-tooth zippers in lengths 12–60 cm.
Attached with a zipper foot on lockstitch machines (Juki DDL-8700), lockstitch 301, 4 stitches per cm, polyester T-40. Sample products at Clubmartin: blouse back zipper, ladies' dress, ladies' trouser. Attaching-seam strength 90–150 N/cm; the zipper itself withstands 30–80 kg pull depending on size.
