Tear-away label

Interior label with perforation the wearer can tear out cleanly – no scratching on the neck.
Description
The tear-away label is an interior label of polyester or satin ribbon with a perforation line. The wearer can tear it off cleanly by hand – usually only attached to the neck tape – without damaging the neckline. Printed with size, care instructions, origin, GOTS/Fair Wear marks.
Attached with lockstitch 301, 2 mm seam allowance, polyester T-40. Alternatively fixed directly on the neck band. Sample products at Clubmartin: merino baselayer (no skin scratching), sport T-shirts, ladies' crew-neck. Advantage: comfort and cleanness for sensitive skin. Downside: care symbols vanish after removal.
