Taffeta ribbon & satin ribbon

Narrow woven ribbons in taffeta or satin weave — standard for labelling, bows, edging and decorative trims.
Description
Taffeta and satin ribbons are narrow woven bands produced on narrow-fabric looms. Taffeta ribbon uses a plain weave with tight thread density, has a matte, paper-like hand and holds its shape well — preferred for hanging loops, label ribbons, ruffles and gift bows.
Satin ribbon, on the other hand, uses satin weave with a glossy smooth face and a matte back; it drapes more softly, shines more intensely and is used as trim on clothing, for hair bows, floral bouquets and gift wrapping. Both ribbons are produced in polyester, viscose, cotton or silk and are available in widths from 3 to 100 mm.
