Description
Hydrafort® is a protected material name of the UK outdoor brand Regatta for waterproof and breathable polyester fabrics with a special PU or PU copolymer coating. Typical water columns are 5,000 to 10,000 mm; breathability is expressed as an MVTR value.
The fabric usually consists of fine polyester filaments in ripstop or taffeta construction, finished with a water-repellent DWR treatment and then coated. Hydrafort® materials are used mainly in entry- to mid-price rain jackets, hiking jackets and transitional jackets by Regatta.
