Cashmere twill

Fine twill fabric from pure or blended cashmere yarn — the standard weave for premium winter coats and jackets.
Description
Cashmere twill is a twill-weave fabric (2/2 or 2/1) from cashmere yarn, typically at Nm 60/2 to Nm 100/2 counts and 320–500 g/m² weights. The diagonal twill line gives the fabric drape, elasticity and a subtly lustrous, soft hand.
Pure cashmere twill is used for coats, jackets, scarves and overshirts; blends with 10–30 % merino wool or silk improve shape retention and price. The fibre comes from the undercoat of the cashmere goat and is combed out mainly in spring. Quality indicators are fibre diameter (< 19 µm) and staple length (> 34 mm).
