Twill heavy canvas

Heavy canvas in twill weave (280-450 g/m²) — extremely durable, a classic workwear base.
Description
Classic canvas is woven in plain weave; the twill variant uses a 2/1 or 3/1 twill weave and therefore offers a softer hand, better tear elongation and a slightly diagonal ribbed character at the same weight (280-450 g/m²). Twill canvas is preferably made from heavy cotton warp yarns (up to Ne 8/2).
The fabric is the basis for many work trousers, dungarees, aprons, multi-pocket jackets and bags; it accepts DWR finishes and oil/wax coatings (waxed cloth) very well. After several washes twill canvas develops the typical vintage look with a softer drape.
